Steven Norman IV

Steven Norman IV, commonly known as Steve, is a saxophonist of 25 plus years. Steve began playing the saxophone when he was 10 years old and his playing has matured over the years to become louder, bolder, and smoother. Steve specializes in the power trio of tenor, alto, and soprano saxophones. With the loss of his sight at the age of 22, amongst other life occurrences, Steve’s saxophone playing has not only become a special talent but is also a form of melodious testimony as to how good God has been to Steve throughout his life. Those who have had the opportunity to hear his testimony say that Steve’s playing is nothing short of anointed, moving, blessed, sensational, awesome, and inspiring. Although Steve has played in the church setting for many years, he has also had the opportunity of gracing the stage at various arenas, including conferences, weddings, youth events, campmeetings, and many other special events and venues. Nothing satisfies Steve more than playing for the Lord, which has generated a soulful and passionate vibe that reaches to the core of his tone and deeply touches the spirit of those listening. If Steve had to narrow down his vision for playing the saxophone into one phrase it would be to simply “meet the people where they are, then take them higher.”
